APTET January 2012 Update APTET January 2012 Update Hyderabad, November 26: The APTET January 2012 -the second Teachers Eligibility Test in Andhra Pradesh has received little response this time. Compared to the first test, the total registration for the 2nd APTET was low at 4.30 lakh as per the latest update .APTET is a must for the candidates planning to get in to teaching profession after B.Ed or D.Ed pass. For the first APTET held in the month of July, around 6.5 lakh candidates registered for the test.The 2nd APTET test scheduled on January 8th, 2102. The reason for the low registration is mainly because the changes in the eligibility rules. As per the new rules, B.Ed candidates are not eligible to write Paper-I. As per the NCTE rules, any teacher, who has to teach the class first to 8th must get the TET score. Meanwhile, the candidates who were in D.Ed second year got the court permission to sit for the APTET January 2012 test. There may be fresh update from TET office on this issue.

Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test HALL TICKET  Teacher's Eligibility Test- January-2012.    Candidates may go through the details shown in tet halltickets . If any data [other than paper(s) appearing for, Language-I, Question Paper medium and Subject] is found to be incorrect they may make necessary corrections in the nominal roll cum attendance sheet during the examination. Candidate present with the tet halltickets in the Examination hall 1 hour before the time of examination. No candidate not allowed after the commencement of the examination i.e, 9.30 AM (Morning Session) or 2.30 PM (Evening Session).No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before 12 Noon and 5.00 PM for Morning Session / Evening Session respectively.The use of calculating devices including logarithm tables, Calculator, Pager, Cell phone (even in the switch off mode) or any other electronic devices etc., is not allowed.

Any candidate found guilty of using unfair means of any nature in the Examination Hall will be ordered to leave the Examination Hall, but he/she will not be allowed to leave the center before 12 Noon and 5.00 PM for Morning and Evening Sessions respectively. A case of malpractice will be booked against the candidate under the A.P. Public Examinations Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair Means Act 25/97. Every candidate should bring Two fine Black Ball point pens and a writing pad with him/her to mark on OMR Sheet. Any other colour pen is not permitted. Candidate should carefully read and the instructions given on the Side-I of OMR Answer Sheet before starting to answer the paper.Candidates will not be allowed any external assistance. Visually impaired (40% handicap and above candidates) are allowed the assistance of a scribe.
